Anoiksi, (Greek for Spring) the non-profit organization with the aim of contributing to the fight against allergies and asthma, organises a fair-event in 6th of May, in order to celebrate World Asthma Day. The event will take place in the centre of Athens, in 'Pedion Areos' Park and will begin at 5.00 o' clock in the afternoon.

Asthma constitutes a global health problem. Hundreds of millions patients, mostly children, require more information and consciousness about the disease.
Today, we are in the great position to deal effectively with the majority of asthma cases. Nevertheless, the need for continuous information and education about asthma problem both of the patients and the public opinion, is imperative.

In Anoiksi Fair you will be provided with plenty of explanation and exhibition about:
• Asthma Diagnostics
• Skin Tests
• The right use of medication
• The necessary changes that can take place inside the house in order to make the life of the patients better

There will be also extensive information about asthma symptoms as well as of the prevention measures against the disease. For young children, clowns will be there for their entertainment along with more surprises!
